This is a pretty much character-driven novel telling the story not only of Addie, but also of Henry, the bookstore boy who remembers her. The plot: By itself, the plot is not truly existent. This changes when, in a bookstore, a man remembers her. Addie has made a deal to live forever, but the catch is that no one that she encounters remembers her: as soon as a door closes or if a person has wandered from Addie's side, they forget her, while Addie still remembers. This book is a story about loss, forgetfulness, existence without any true meaning and yet, there's always something that the protagonist fights for. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is a story based on the trope "one sells their soul to the devil" and, of course, the deal is not quite as straightforward as it originally seems. Schwab book that I binge read and thoroughly enjoyed.
